Job Fair Is An Integral Part Of Skill Development

Job Fair is an Integral Part of Skill Development

The climax of each and every skill development programs is to make the society skilled. Those who get their skill developed or enhanced should be engaged in employment. It may be self-employment or wage employment. In this post, we are going to discuss how job fair is an integral part of skill development.

Trainees Get Better Job Opportunities in Job Fair

When we talk about wage employment then Job Fairs and Rojgar Melas become more relevant. In a Job Fair, at an average 20-25 employer participates and candidates turn up happens around 5000-10000 which depends upon locality. This provides an opportunity to converge the employee and employ at one platform.

Employers get a better candidate from the crowd of manpower whereas candidates get the better job opportunity to excel in career. Choice of selection is made available for the selection of best. This is how the requirement of both gets fulfilled.

Local Government Bodies Plays a Big Role in Organising Job Fairs

In recent years, local government bodies like employment exchange, District/Block Mission Management Unit of Rural Development Department, District/Block Panchayat plays a big role in organizing job fairs. They invite the employers for a given schedule of Job Fair. The job aspirants are informed through the various mode of advertisement to participate in such job fairs.

Government officers also actively participate in the Job Fair. Many government bodies sponsor the space, building or logistics as a kind support to such event of public interest.

Employers Get Manpower Free of Cost

As the employers select the candidate from direct interaction so the cost involved in the recruitment process is reduced up to the minimum. However, the normal charge to hire a candidate from outsourcing is 8.33% of annual salary package of the candidate. Thus by the participation in a job fair, employers get the manpower free of cost. This most helpful when bulk hiring is the requirement of any organization.
Similarly, many more points of benefits make it a win-win situation for all stakeholders. It is worth to say that Job Fair is an integral part of Skill Development Programs.
